Going to the Chapel
My good friend, former roommate and bridesmaid, Kim, announced a couple of weeks ago that she is engaged. For those of us who have known Kim for awhile, this came as quite a shock. I knew Kim was in Vegas when I received a text titled "News". Part of me expected the text to say that she had gotten married. I think I would have been less shocked by that, than I was to read that she was engaged. You have to know Kim to understand :) Anyway - Congrats to Kim and "Moose". Can't wait for a destination wedding! Bring on the Big XII Babies!!

Pa Pa Nick's
Today we went to PaPa Nick's to celebrate his birthday (which is this Friday). Campbell finally found a reason to like Aunt Robbyn...... ice cream!!!

Lyn's Wedding
This weekend we headed back home. We got to catch up with all of my best friends from high school at Lyn Barry's wedding reception. Lyn was married in June in Mexico. It was a good time. Gert - Hope you back gets to feeling better! Congratulations Lyn & Steve! We had a great time.

Aloha
My good friend Mandi is getting married September 20, so this weekend we had a Couple's Shower for her and her fiancee, John Harrell. Most of you know Mandi because we have been friends since before Kindergarten and because she was the Maid of Honor in our wedding. Mandi & John are getting married at Cedar Lake in Wright City and will be jetting off to Hawaii for their honeymoon. In honor of the honeymoon, her sister and mom planned a Hawaiian themed party, which included a tiki bar and a hula dancer!! Lots of fun!!
