Sara is playing softball (catcher) for the first time, so we've been looking forward to getting to see her play. This weekend was a tournament and games were planned for Friday night and Saturday. Nanny, Poppy, Campbell & I headed down Friday night, but Nick was already down there. As we were driving, we got a call from Nick that Sara had gotten hit by a bat. They ended up in the emergency room, but fortunately, it was just severely bruised and not broken. Even though we did not get to see Sara play, we had a great day watching the games. Sara supported her team to 2 wins and 2 losses. Campbell loved all the excitement going on and had a great time cheering. I don't think she realized that Sara didn't actually get to play :)
